• Forever Young BBL reverses the signs of aging. It improves skin pigmentation, flushing, uneven skin tone, sun damage and troublesome age spots. It is a quick, noninvasive treatment with results typically seen after your first or second treatment.

  • Forever Young BBL treats any unwanted pigmented lesions, freckles, age spots, sunspots, vascular lesions, small blood vessels, and rosacea. Think of it as the reds and browns in the skin.

  • You can treat the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders, and back of hands.

  • A typical treatment takes about an hour depending on your specific skin care concerns and what areas of the body we are treating. We can treat multiple areas during your appointment as long as it is booked correctly with the appropriate amount of time needed.

  • BBL stands for Broadband Light. It deposits pulses of light energy to heat up the skin, causing the outermost layers of the skin to absorb the heat. Pigmented skin cells begin to die off, regenerating new skin cells to come in. When going after superficial vessels and broken capillaries with the Broadband light, the areas get closed off or collapse.

  • To receive treatment, you must avoid the sun prior to treatment (no sunbathing or active tan/sunburn) and no sunless tanner two weeks prior. Avoid the sun after treatment for about 1-2 weeks (follow your normal SPF routine and wear a hat if outside). Basically, no, you do not need to hide in your house!

  • Though downtime will mean something different for everyone, there is no social downtime with this treatment. You can return to work and even apply makeup after 24 hours.

  • Immediately after treatment you will be red and have a feeling of warmth that will subside within the hour. Your pigment will darken to a blackish brown color. Pigmented lesions with slowly slough off within 7-10 days.

  • For the next week, your skincare routine will be simple, no active ingredients or exfoliating the skin. Allow the darkened pigment to slough off naturally. Premature exfoliation could result in uneven skin tone!

  • Forever Young BBL can be done as often as every 4 weeks.

  • Depending on concern most people will need multiple treatments to reach their desired outcome, usually 3-6 per area. Your laser technician will be able to give you detailed information on the number of treatments they believe you will need to reach your goal at your consultation.

  • Results last as long as you take care of your skin. Using medical grade skincare as well as wearing SPF daily will ensure your fresh even skin will remain that way!

  • Once you reach your desired outcome, from there it is about maintenance. Along with medical grade skincare and SPF, we recommend receiving a BBL every 3-6 months or yearly to maintain your results.

  • If you have had dermal filler or PDO threads, we recommend waiting at least 2 weeks to receive any laser treatment, as well as waiting 2 weeks after laser to receive any filler or PDO threads. Although it is not desirable, botulinum toxin injections can be performed the same day, just not before and you will need two separate appointments.

  • Yes. For example, if you purchased a package of 3 BBLs you could use 2 on your face and 1 on your chest or vice versa. Ideally, you will need at least 3 treatments per area for best results.
