This is the best place you will ever go to if you are looking to get informed in detail of preventative care and treatment that makes you look and feel amazing. I love that I decided to do laser hair removal and to take care of my skin with years of sun exposure and damage. The staff is so much fun to visit and laugh with. Can’t wait until my next visit. It does get addicting. The better you look and feel the more you want to try.

There are no special precautions you need to take before your laser hair removal appointment. If you use a self-tanner, we recommend stopping about ten days before your appointment. You should also avoid tweezing, waxing, bleaching, epilating, or using hair removal creams for three weeks before your treatment. If you are menstruating, we ask you to reschedule your appointment.
For best results, you NEED TO shave the area being treated 24-48 hours before the treatment so that the laser can target the pigment located in the follicle and not the hair on the surface of your skin. We see the best results when the hair is ⅓ the length of a piece of rice.

Laser hair removal is a very comfortable procedure with mild to moderate discomfort levels. There will be a brief sensation often described as similar to a rubber band snap. The sapphire crystal in the laser keeps the skin cool making the Bare HR the most comfortable machine on the market.
Your appointment will take 30 minutes to two hours depending on the areas you’re having treated.

You may experience some redness and slight swelling after your appointment. This should usually subside within an hour. There are no significant side effects to this treatment.
Please avoid saunas and hot tubs for 48 hours after your laser hair removal treatment.
You should always use sunscreen when outdoors, but it is especially important to apply sunscreen to your treatment area after laser hair removal.
If your hair grows and you’d like to, you can shave between appointments but it is best not to wax or tweeze the area being treated.

It will depend on the thickness of your hair and the area being treated. We will recommend a treatment schedule to you during your consultation. Most clients will have five treatments to see the best results. Treatments will be spaced out every 6-8 weeks for most areas.
You can expect to see results after 1-2 laser hair removal treatments however this varies. Hair will become thinner and patchier as treatments continue and you become hair free.
After the hair follicle is damaged, it will not be able to grow any more hair. While results are variable, most people will only need a touch-up every few years. This will depend on the area being treated, hair quality, medications, hormone levels, and other factors.
