We support other female-owned small businesses, raise money and awareness for dog rescues, support other local businesses in Ferndale, and always pride ourselves on being inclusive, not exclusive. Detroit Dog Rescue
Detroit Dog Rescue is a nonprofit dog shelter that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs.
The Aesthetic Method organizes regular fundraising events for them.
Ferndale Pride
The Aesthetic Method is a sponsor of Ferndale Pride - the largest free-to-the-public LGBTQAI+ festival in Michigan.
Located in the heart of downtown Ferndale, it hosts three stage areas, showing off Michigan's brightest stars.
The 2026 edition will take place on May 30.
Supporting Detroit area women-owned businesses
Every year on International Women's Day, our medspa hosts an event to celebrate and uplift Detroit area women-owned businesses. It’s a great opportunity to highlight the incredible entrepreneurs who strengthen our community.
Friends of DACC
Friends of DACC is a nonprofit group that teams up with Detroit's animal shelter to rescue pets, boost their care, and help folks keep their animals at home through fostering, volunteering, and community support. They're all about saving homeless pets and making life better for Detroit's animals and their people.
Planned Parenthood
The Aesthetic Method supports and donates to Planned Parenthood. We consider it vital to ensure everyone has access to essential health services that prevent unintended pregnancies, detect diseases early, and promote informed choices, helping reduce health disparities and empower personal autonomy regardless of income or background.
The Michigan chapter of Planned Parenthood operates several health centers across the state, including in Detroit, Ferndale, and Ann Arbor.
Affirmations
Affirmations is the largest LGBTQ+ community center in Detroit Area. Its spacious 17,000 sq ft location sits in Ferndale, right near The Aesthetic Method.
Launched in 1989 from two Detroit basements by local trailblazers , Affirmations fosters queer community through youth events, senior groups, Ringwald theater, and MiGen's LGBTQ+ elders hub—keeping metro Detroit's connections strong and vibrant.
