You have to do your part as a patient to make sure you are doing your pre-treatment prep before you come and see us!
Proper pre-treatment prep can make all the difference when it comes to injections. In an ideal situation, it is prudent to follow some simple guidelines that can make a huge difference.
Follow These Pre-treatment Tips Below for a Great Result!
Patient should not be pregnant or breastfeeding
Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 72 hours prior to treatment
Avoid caffeine the day of the procedure. This is not a reason to cancel your appointment, but avoiding it will minimize the risk of bruising
Avoid anti-inflammatory / blood thinning medications for a period of one week before treatment. Please consult with your physician before stopping any medication.
Please notify us if you are prone to cold sores. If you develop a cold sore, blemish or rash prior to your appointment you must reschedule. This is for ANY treatment
Schedule any injectable appointment AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR to a special event.

If this is your first visit to The Aesthetic Method, we treat it as a consult, but most patients get treatment the same day so be prepared for your appointment just in case with these pre-treatment tips!

Please note when looking for an appointment, we open our schedule three months in advance and are usually booked 2-4 weeks out. We do not have a cancellation list, but we post all last-minute availability on Facebook and Instagram stories, so make sure to follow us there. Our Nurse Injectors, Lily and Lauren, have their books open for both new and existing clients.
